[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Most artists and musicians translate music from their own perspective into their own style…you get used to what they do and that’s that. Not so many truly embody music, generally it is packaged according-to-demand…and even fewer have what it takes to create it live, unrehearsed in front of a crowd of expectant fans. This is where German born Rico Loop does something really incredible, with the help of his trusty Loop Station and occasionally a few bicycles, bottles…or anything else he happens to find lying around. Rico is an old soul in a body that still seems to reach out to other dimensions when he performs. If you haven’t seen his “One Take” video which went viral, you are missing out.
Endorsed by BOSS/Native Instruments & Roland, Rico has also worked with Hughes and Kettner and played events and shows all over the world. He is particularly well known for his appearances at festivals like Fusion, Boom, Roskilde and Universo Paralello. This mind blowing channel of incredible sound, ambience, movement and expression shares his fresh perspectives with FtC…as well as some insight into where one might find this fountain of inspiration. A couple of our favorite insights from our conversation with Rico:

So put weakness on the table, be transparent, reflect the other person’s thinking, become their friends and create a space to become comfortable. Like that you make people listen intuitively…”
“…when you start to see through the fabrications of the ego, it doesn’t have the same impact, or gravitational field that drags you into problems, judging or excluding. Each time a musician plays, they are like the ceremony holder. I have to say the more present I am, the more beautiful my music becomes…”[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”1415″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]
